5 Floors, 28 hubs, 14 access zones

Disclaimer : Marked zones may not be acessible by all wireless receivers, reception depends on strength of receiver

The Academic Quadrangle is located in the center of the Simon Fraser University Campus and has five main floors. Like much of SFU, the AQ is built out of thick concrete walls and floors that are impermeable by wireless fields. Although there are many marked access zones, they do not necessarily stretch as far as indicated. Access points on the 3000 Level (2,3,29) that are within close proximity of computer labs in the east hallway have slower access rates. Most of the lecture halls do not have wireless access.

Recommendations : Extend wireless services into classrooms and lecture halls, improve access nearest North Eastern Corner 3000 Level.
