The
final analysis, which determines the site selection, is determining the shape
of the sites selected. As mentioned earlier the shape of the conservation area
plays a key role in the stability of the area. In order to obtain the information
needed to make an analysis of the shape both the area, in cells, and the perimeter,
in km, needed to be calculated. Once these operations were performed a concavity
index could be calculated. This would be the final step of the spatial analysis.
