The Geography 2020 Grad Research Day was held on Earth Day April 22nd in two sessions (10:45-12:00h & 13:00-14:00h). A total of 36 participants, including geography graduate students, faculty, staff, and guests, gathered remotely through the Blackboard Collaborate online platform to contribute to our first remote GRDay event during the Covid-19 pandemic time. The event provided an opportunity for 2nd year Masters and some Doctoral students to present and share the results of their exciting graduate thesis research work. Special thanks to Justin, John and Erin for enabling the smooth running of the online technology, and of course to all the presenters and participants for making this remote event a success by contracting our physical distance across two continents to expand our collective experience. Additional details on the presentations is available on our YouTube channel.
