Christina holds a Masters Degree from the University of Guelph and has been working as an environmental health scientist at the Climate Change and Health Office, Health Canada for five years. Since her arrival at Health Canada, Christina has been extensively involved in the development of education materials for health care providers and leads various scientific research projects investigating the health risks from climate change impacts. She has co-authored various publications outlining the health impacts of extreme heat, and has lead the development of an online accredited e-learning module. Christina also supports research and adaptation policy development on climate change and health issues.
