Post-doctoral Fellows (External)
Junior scholars who are within three years of having received a doctorate degree may apply for the non-stipendiary status of Postdoctoral Fellow of the Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies.
Fellows will receive the use of SFU library facilities, Internet access, and shared office space. They will participate in the activities of the department and university by attending lectures, workshops, and colloquia and by presenting a research paper to the university community.
If interested, please submit electronically a letter of application, a current CV, and a two-page research proposal, including the desired dates of tenure and the ways that the research dovetails with the work of our department, to firstname.lastname@example.org . Applications will be reviewed twice a year, in October and April. Special consideration will be given to those applicants who have arranged a faculty mentor in the department. A letter of invitation will be extended to successful applicants.
Successful applicants from outside Canada will be expected to arrange their own travel documents.
