Dr. Habiba Zaman is Professor in the Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies, Simon Fraser University. She earned her M.A. in Political Science and Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Manitoba. Her areas of research interest include Women and Work, Gender and International Development, and Immigrants in Canada. Her teaching portfolio includes Transnational Migrants and Women, Race, Gender and Class, Women in the Economy, Gender and International Development, and Feminist Research Methods. She has published extensively in international journals.
