Teaching

Lara teaches in the areas of Canadian women's history and women in social work: history, theory and contemporary issues

Publications

Lara publishes on the topics of gender relationships in the interwar period and popular pressure in welfare state formation and has published a book entitled Respectable Citizens: Gender and Family in the Great Depression.
