Following a highly successful inaugural event last year, the SFU Health Network Advisory Committee (HNAC) and the VP Research will be hosting a full day of health research related talks, posters and networking.

How can you participate?

Present Research

Following last year's highly popular quick fire En'Lightening Rounds, where faculty are invited to present their research in two minutes using only two slides, the number of slots available have been substantially increased. We encourage you to tell others about your health research by submitting an abstract and two slides.

Present Poster

We welcome graduate students, post-docs, and other trainees across SFU to take part in two poster sessions to be held during the half hour coffee breaks. Posters can be new or "recycled" from previous meetings. Posters must be set up by 9:30am on April 12, 2012. Each poster presenter will be allocated the morning or afternoon break time to be present at their posters to speak to interested participants.  If you are not available all day, you may request a specific break time on the registration form.

Attend

Even if you are not giving a talk or poster, we invite faculty, graduate students and external partners to learn more about the diversity of health research at SFU, and to take advantage of opportunities to explore potential research collaborations wtih colleagues, students and external partners.
