Graduate

SFU Hellenic Studies offers you advanced study opportunities at the MA and PhD level through partnerships with the Departments of Archaeology and History.

Research topics

Hellenic Studies faculty members can supervise research topics on Hellenic themes from antiquity, through the Byzantine and Ottoman periods, to modern-day Greece. Using our partnerships with other departments at SFU as well as other academic institutions, we are able to form committees composed of leading experts on Greece’s history, language, and culture. Thanks to our many generous donors, graduate students working with our faculty receive comprehensive funding and institutional support packages that give them the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside the academy.
