Course
Details:
13
week course on Immersive environments
This is a 13 week course with one grade ( which will be given redundantly
for each module - i.e. if you get a b+ for the whole course, you'll
get a B+ for all 3 modules). There is nothing special about tech week
as far as this course is concerned. In these 13 weeks you will learn
about 3d virtual and multi-user environments cuminating in working as
a team to produce a significant virtual community project.
Class
Project
This course will culminate in a significant virtual community project
that the class picks to support. Most of the last 8 weeks will be the
production phase of creating this project. Most of the first 3 weeks
will be learning enough about virtual worlds and the possible project
we can take on as an intergrate class.
CMS
and WebX
We will not be using the CMS for this class, instead we will be using
this website. We will be using CMS discussion boards ( called webX).
Those borads and discussion will be linked from this site.
