This guy here, Chris, is a life saver. I owe him and his family a debt of gratitude. They've taken care of me on several occasions.

Last winter caused numerous power outages, and at the time I was still settling into my new place. One of them lasted for a day and a half. When I woke up that day, I knew I was in trouble. My phone and cell phone didn't work so I had no way of communicating, nearby food courts and resturants were also out of power, everyone was snowed in, and all the food I had stocked up didn't have a way to be cooked. Being me, I dislike asking for help, so I was prepared to starve until the power came on, which was according to BC Hydro 11pm that night, but was actually 6 in the morning the next day. Amazingly Chris here realized I was in trouble and made his way to my place with his younger brother right when I realized how much trouble I was in, and ask if I would like to spend the day at his house instead since they could still cook. I gratefully accepted his invitation.

I'm not sure where I would be without this guy here.
