Aug 26th 05 : Welcome to the site for Iat241 - The whole site has not been updated - so some of the info is from last years class. We will fully update it soon ( new reading for sure). Welcome!! Want to prepare - Look through the Courses Details page, start looking at Alias Maya 3D software - they have a free learner addition you can download for home, or they are on certain SFU Surrey computers or take out a book on it in the library (see more on Maya in Course Details). Also look at 3D animations both productions and art shorts. You will create your own (with a team of 2 to 5 studens) by the end of the course. See a (good) example from last year of all the assignments and the final short here.
