Interactive Arts and Technology 312 introduces students to a range of topics in game design, from player psychology to uncertainty to narrative to economic systems in games. The course lectures cover the theory of game design, while the labs and projects give students a chance to gain practical experience with the class' concepts by designing several board and video games.

The class is currently taught by Peter Gorniak. You can find a recent outline here. Watch this space for more material including a more detailed topic outline and example projects.
