OVERVIEW:

Simon Fraser University now has a "one-stop-shop" for career-related learning and development through the new Work Integrated Learning (WIL) unit that provides the experiential complement to any student's academic career. SFU's WIL unit offers domestic and international co-operative education opportunities for all students; career planning and development services for all students and recent alumni; co-ordination of volunteer and internship opportunities locally and abroad; and more recently the development of service learning opportunities.

PROJECT or Industry Area GOALS:

To be determined, however, at first thought:

  1. interactive component to attract and engage students within the career development realm
  2. multimedia educational project to educate students online about their career options and opportunities

(learning towards an interactive multi-media experience that walks students through the theoretical “Three-Door-Model” of career development and exploration – to be featured online in some capacity.)

PROJECT or Company DESCRIPTION:

To be determined.
