IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who seek to study or work where English is the language of communication.

The Official IELTS Test Centre at Simon Fraser University has been offering the IELTS test since 1998. Tests are scheduled on a regular basis at our Burnaby and Vancouver campuses. SFU testing locations have also included Surrey, Victoria, Kelowna and Abbotsford serving large geographical areas such as Vancouver Island, the Thompson/ Okanagan and the Fraser Valley.
