Surrey, BC, V3T 2W1Simon Fraser University Surrey is one of three Simon Fraser University campuses located in the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland areas of BC, Canada. Established in the spring of 2002, SFU Surrey is located in the Central City complex at 13450 102 Avenue, just south of the Surrey Central SkyTrain station (just look for the large office tower). Walk across the plaza to the Central City entrance and then up the stairs to the main campus entrance.
The campus offers undergraduate studies in arts and social sciences, applied sciences, business administration, education, mathematics, and science; graduate and professional studies in applied sciences and education; and a number of credit and non-credit continuing education courses. The Surrey campus appeals to students who value the benefits associated with being part of a smaller supportive learning community and an intimate and friendly campus.

Fraser Valley Real Estate Board Academic Library

This library supports teaching, learning and research at the Surrey campus. Services include reference, liaison, instruction, circulation, course reserves and document delivery. The library also circulates digital camcorders and other media equipment for class and assignment use. The on-site collections support Surrey programs and include 10,000 books, 80 journals, DVDs, videos, CDs, CD-ROMs and games. Arrangements can be made for the delivery of items from the Burnaby and Vancouver university libraries, thereby providing access to an additional 2.4 million titles. Students can also access the Library's online collection - 118,000 e-books, 15,000 e-journals, 400,000 art e-images and hundreds of databases - on the web anytime, anywhere. The Library is open Monday - Wednesday and Fridays, 9 am - 6 pm. On Thursdays, the Library stays open until 9 pm. Recorded library hours line: 778.782.4351

You can obtain your Library/ID card from the Registration and Information Services counter at the Surrey campus. Photo ID is required. The Yosef Wosk Student Learning Commons is an academic learning centre providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance with a wide range of academic topics and skills including writing and learning skills support, peer tutoring, math drop-in and more. The goal is to provide students with the strategies and tools needed for academic success.
Computing Labs

There are seven computing labs located throughout the SFU Surrey campus. A large drop-in lab is located on the mezzanine floor, five more labs are located in Galleria 3, and one is located on Galleria 4. Please see SFU Surrey Campus Guide for specific locations.
Recreational Services

Recreational programs at Simon Fraser University Surrey are offered in partnership with the City of Surrey Parks and Recreation. Access is currently available only to members of the Simon Fraser University Surrey community including students who have been accepted or approved to programs/majors specifically available at the Surrey campus. Facilities include community fitness/weight rooms, swim sessions, and non-registered aquatic and fitness programs. Students in approved Simon Fraser University Surrey programs can also participate in various intramural and fitness classes.
SFU Bookstore

The Bookstore at Simon Fraser University Surrey carries course books for all classes offered at the Surrey campus. The Bookstore also offers an assortment of insignia clothing/giftware, stationery, general books, magazines and confectionery.

Health and Counselling Services
Health and Counselling Services provides counselling services to all SFU Surrey students. Appointments may be made by calling 778-782-8022.
Career Services
Career Advising is available at the SFU Surrey campus, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 4:30 pm. The Career Advising Centre office is located on Mezzanine 2541.

SFU's Centre for Students with Disabilities
The Centre for Students with Disabilities provides disability related information, support and counselling to the SFU students with disabilities. The Centre also recommends academic accommodations to offset the affects of a disability, and acts as liaisons between students and faculty in the implementation of disability services. Food Services
The food court is located in the shopping mall at SFU Surrey and offers a wide range of food services during mall hours. There are a variety of coffee shops and snack bars located in and around the mall area, including two Blenz coffee shops at Central City, City Blends coffee shop located in the mall, and Jabez Coffee Bar, located across the street from the campus.
