Voting, Political Parties, and Coalition Governments in West European democracies

Research and Teaching

The investigation of factors affecting the party composition, policy outputs, and survival records of coalition governments in parliamentary democracies.
The investigation of the nature of voter preferences and their connection to the policies of political parties and governments in liberal democracies.
Teaching in the areas of quantitative methods and democratic governance with a focus on Western Europe
