By connecting entrepreneurs and new and established companies with the research innovations, technologies, expertise and resources of Simon Fraser University, the Innovation Office helps create new spin-out and start-up companies based on University Innovations and to develop relationships between SFU researchers and industry in local and global markets.
The Innovation Office’s programs support entrepreneurs and early stage company development, as well as technology transfer and licensing. These activities generate new investment, new companies, new jobs and path-breaking new products and services that result in many benefits for BC, Canada and the World.
