UILO Achievements 2001/02
In 2001/02 the University/Industry Liaison Office (UILO) at Simon Fraser University (SFU) achieved the following results:
Agreements Completed
- 7 technologies sold/ assigned.
Technology Development
- 28 new invention disclosures.
- 26 patent applications filed.
- 4 new patents issued bringing the total of issued patents in good standing to 38.
Spin-off Companies
- 2 new spin-off companies created, bringing the total of active spin-off companies to 42.
- SFU holds equity positions in 24 spin-off companies.
Gross Revenues
- $735,415 gross revenues from royalties, licence fee receipts, dividends and equity liquidation
