About Us

Everyone working with the IPinCH project should belong to at least one Working Group of their own choosing. Descriptions of the Working Groups are below. To join a Working Group, first log in, then click on "Working Groups" at the top of the left menu, and finally click "Join", which can be found on the right of each Working Group name.

Working Groups

The eight IPinCH Working Groups target key research areas and create a venue for innovative, multi-sectoral, cross-disciplinary collaborations involving scholars, students and research partners.

During the first half of the seven-year project, the groups will: a) develop Work Plans and objectives; b) develop and evaluate areas of interest and perhaps even questions for case studies and other research initiatives; c) convene forums, seminars and/or symposia; and, d) explore issues with other scholars and audiences.

Later, in the second half of the project, the groups will use their initial work to: e) produce edited volumes for publication; and f) make policy recommendations.

Students, partnering organization representatives, co-investigators, associates, collaborators, research assistants, steering committee members, and community representatives are all encouraged to join.
