Workshops (Dates & Registration)

The ISTLD currently facilitates three grant programs: Teaching and Learning Development Grant program (TLDG), Decolonizing Teaching Seminar Series and Grant program, and Inquiring into your Multilingual Classroom Seminar Series and Grant Program (in partnership with CELLTR).

As workshops are offerred they will be advertised here.

We host workshops at both the Vancouver and Surrey campuses by request, as well as for departments or faculties. We require a minimum of three participants/projects to go ahead with each workshop series. For more information or to request a workshop, please contact: istld@sfu.ca

Teaching and Learning Development Grant Program
Proposal Development Workshops

SFU faculty members (i.e., SFUFA members) can receive grants of up to $6,000 through the Teaching and Learning Development Grants program. The grants are intended to recognize teaching development as a scholarly activity and to stimulate faculty-led investigation of new or innovative teaching and learning practices at Simon Fraser University.

How to register: Complete the initial form (DOCX) and email it to istld@sfu.ca to register for one of the workshop series listed below.

Current TLDG funding allows for us to facilitate and fund ~30 projects a year or 10 projects each semester.
