Grading & AssignmentsAs a class we will build a facial animation resource site, complete with an application, data, documentation and example content. Each of you, individually or in teams will take on one part of this work by picking one the the listed project assignments or submitting your own, writing a project plan on what it is an how you will execute it and then implementing on that plan.
ParticipationWhile individuals or teams will pick a specific assignment, all assignments come together to create the whole shared animation resource - our facial animation site. Assignments must also glue together as a shared vision. Class participation in the form of evaluating others and creating a shared class experience is therefore critical. Project PlanSince all assignments must come together as a whole, it is essential that we all communicate what we are trying to achieve via our project plan. Project plans are due Monday of week 3. Please submit you short ( a few paragraphs) project plans via the web board in the project plan discussion board here. Please list your task, proposed outcome, which resource you will be using ( code files, new animation, updating old work, ...) and team members. Project AssignmentOnce the project plans are evaluated, it is time to research and execute them. All assignments must come together as one cohesive online facial animation system. See the Assignment List below. Assignment List:Choose from this list or propose your own -- you may work individual or in teams. A project plan must be submitted for each assignment. Also see the credits page of the facade site for past assignment that you may wish to extend or upgrade.
