The Information Technology Infrastructure group (ITI) is responsible for the overall design, implementation, operation, and support of centralized systems infrastructure spanning all three campuses. Leveraging a broad spectrum of both experience and expertise, ITI supports the systems infrastructure used by all IT Services groups, as well as a growing number of departments and faculties across the university community.

Support

ITI is split up into various working groups, all which are responsible to support various pieces of infrastructure. • Gold Tier Raw Storage - low latency, high I/O suited storage
• Bronze Tier Raw Storage - cost effective storage for large storage requirements

• Managed Virtual Servers - Fully managed server running in ITI's Virtual Environment
• Managed Physical Servers - Fully managed server located in SFU Campus Data Centres
• Unmanaged Virtual Servers - Unmanaged server running in ITI's Virtual Environment
• Unmanaged Physical Servers - Unmanaged server located in SFU Campus Data Centres

• Managed Server Anti-virus - Hosted and Fully Managed Server-class A/V Service
• Terminal Server Licensing - Hosted and Fully Managed Microsoft TS Licensing Service

• Physical Backup - Managed Backup and Recovery Service for Physical Servers
