Help Desk staff offer support for equipment and resources in all IT Services computer labs. Limited support is available for applications and laptop issues. Labs have a variety of software applications and are open to anyone with an SFU computing ID. Visit the Labs and Locations web page for more information on hours of operation and location of the labs.
New and returning students can activate and manage their computing accounts on line at mySFU
Booking instructional computer lab space is managed by Scheduling. (Rooms AQ3148.1, AQ3148.2, AQ3145)
Printing default is set to duplex.
Print jobs sent to Black and White printer from an IT Services CaRS workstation will default to double sided printing. Please change the Printing Preferences from Flip on Long Edge to None for single sided printing. If you need further assistance, contact the Lab Help Desk personnel.
Personal file space.
Your Personal File Space is now mounted automatically. Check under 'My Computer' for U:\ drive.
Files saved to Desktop and My Documents will NO longer be redirected to your Personal File Space.
24 hour printing is available in North Concourse (AQ2131) [Summer 2013 - temporarily out of service due to renovations]
