SFU has a committment to investigating up-and-coming technologies in our teaching labs. In the spirit of maintaining up to date software, I.T. Services has begun a "pilot program" which involves placing a small number of Windows 8 lab computers on all three campuses.

Microsoft has firm convictions that the new user interface will be around for many years to come. Accordingly, students are encouraged to use these workstations as they would any other.

Given this, we hope to smooth the transition by providing a handful of Windows 8 tips and tricks.
