How to enable Account Tracking with Konica Minolta MFD

1. Login as an Administrator to the MFD's web portal you would like to setup Account Tracking

2. Go to the User Acct./Auth tab

3. Under General Settings, enter the info as shown

4. Click Account Track Settings and then New Registration

5. Enter the appropriate info as requested on the screen

6. Click OK to save the settings

How to export Account Tracking counters

1. Login as an Administrator to the MFD's web portal you want to gather the tracking counters

2. Go to the Maintenance tab

3. Under Import/Export, select Counter

4. Click Export

5. Select Account Track Counter and click OK

6. Click Download to download the Account Track counters file

How to use Account Tracking on a Mac

1. In the Print menu, select Output Method from the drop-down box

2. Check Account Track

3. Enter a Department name and its tracking code

4. Select Save Settings and click OK

5. Click Print to print your documents

How to use Account Tracking on a PC

1. Once you add the Printer in Printer & Faxes, click on the Printer menu item, then Properties

2. Click on the Printing Preferences button

3. On the Basic tab, click on the Authentication / Account Tracking button in the middle of the right hand column

4. Enter your department name and associated code, then press the Verify button

5. If your Department name and password are verified correctly, you should see this window. Press the OK button.

6. Press the OK button to exit this window

7. Click the OK button to exit this window

8. Press the OK button to exit this window

How to scan documents to a SMB share using Active Directory authentication

Part 1

1. Login as an Administrator to the MFD's web portal

2. Go to the User Acct./Auth tab

3. Under External Server Settings, click Edit

4. Enter the appropriate info as shown above

5. Click OK to save the settings

6. You are now setup to use SFU's Active Directory for authentication

Part 2

1. Login as an Administrator to the MFD's web portal

2. Go to the Store Address tab

3. Under Address Book - Store Address, click New Registration

4. Select SMB and click OK

5. Enter the appropriate info as requested on screen. Example above

6. Click OK to save the settings

7. You are now setup to scan documents to a SMB share folder
