Mac OSX Lion Configuration for SFUNET-SECURE and eduroam
Note: All use of wireless networking is governed by policy GP-24 "Fair Use of Information and Communication Technology".
Note: Apple has again changed how Mac OSX connects to WPA2-Enterprise networks. If you are upgrading from a previous version of OSX, your previously created SFUNET-SECURE and eduroam profiles will no longer work. Please follow the directions below to install new profiles.
- Download the SFUNET-SECURE profile or the eduroam profile
- Double-click on the profile to begin the installation process
- A pop-up message will appear asking for permission to install the profile. Click continue.
- As the profile is not signed, a warning pop-up message will appear. Click continue.
- Enter your SFU computing ID (in the format userid@sfu.ca) and password
- OSX may then ask you for permission to make changes. Enter the username and password for your laptop.
- You should now be able to connect to SFUNET-SECURE or eduroam.
