Mac OSX Lion Configuration for SFUNET-SECURE and eduroam

Note: All use of wireless networking is governed by policy GP-24 "Fair Use of Information and Communication Technology".

Note: Apple has again changed how Mac OSX connects to WPA2-Enterprise networks. If you are upgrading from a previous version of OSX, your previously created SFUNET-SECURE and eduroam profiles will no longer work. Please follow the directions below to install new profiles.

  1. Download the SFUNET-SECURE profile or the eduroam profile
  2. Double-click on the profile to begin the installation process
  3. A pop-up message will appear asking for permission to install the profile. Click continue.
  4. As the profile is not signed, a warning pop-up message will appear. Click continue.
  5. Enter your SFU computing ID (in the format userid@sfu.ca) and password
  6. OSX may then ask you for permission to make changes. Enter the username and password for your laptop.
  7. You should now be able to connect to SFUNET-SECURE or eduroam.
