Want to make a difference? Learn how to conduct and use research as a tool for social change. This is a required course for the Major. Prerequisite: LBST 101 or instructor permission.

LBST 310 - Politics of Labour in Canada

Labour has been front and center on Canada's public stage lately. Issues including minimum and living wage, precarious labour, employment policy, and technological change are important now more than ever. Learn about the roles played by electoral poltics and the working class and union movement, and the relationship between them.

LBST 330 - Selected Topics: Studying Labour Through Film - NEW

Prepare to change the way you think about labour history and film. This course questions who has the power to tell stories and write history, and examines how flm can be a medium for both.
