How to get to SFU Harbour Centre

If you are driving from Vancouver International Airport
From the airport, proceed north along the Arthur Laing Bridge to Granville Street. Head north on Granville Street into downtown Vancouver. After crossing the Granville Street Bridge, take the Seymour Street exit and continue north on Seymour to Hastings Street.
Parking at Harbour Centre
Public parking is available at many locations near the Harbour Centre campus. Street parking is free after 8 pm. The closest parking lot is at 400 West Cordova Street.Airport charter
Bus service is available to and from Vancouver International Airport (Level 2). This service is operated by Charter Bus Lines. Cost is approx. $12.00/one way.
Taxi
Taxis are located outside the airport terminal. Cost to downtown is approximately $28.00 to $30.00/one way.
Public transit
Major public transit lines, the SeaBus, SkyTrain and WestCoast Express terminate at Waterfront Station, located in the historic CP Rail Station on Cordova Street, opposite Simon Fraser University at Harbour Centre. Transit schedules can be found at www.translink.bc.ca. The SFU Harbour Centre campus is also within easy walking distance of all street buses with a terminus in downtown Vancouver. Cost is $3.00 from Vancouver International Airport to Downtown Vancouver, and $2.00 within Downtown Vancouver.

Wireless Net Access during TAG+7
TAG+7 will not provide wireless access to the net. However, Fatport (http://www.fatport.com/) does provide wireless access near the conference venue. Their wireless hotspot extends to the Harbour Centre Food Court which is accessible via an escalator to the level just below the conference venue. Unfortunately, their wireless range does not extend to the room where the talks will be held.
Their charges are CDN $9.95 for wireless access for a day and cheaper for shorter time periods. We have not tried their service and do not recommend them over other services you might find, but if you are really in need of wireless access, this might be a useful resource for you.
Update: We are in the process of negotiating free wireless access for TAG+7 attendees in the conference venue. If you are interested in getting wireless access during the conference, please send Anoop Sarkar the MAC address of your wireless card.
