Welcome to the LLEP.

The Laboratory for Logic and Experimental Philosophy (LLEP) is affiliated with the philosophy department at Simon Fraser University (Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada).

The LLEP was founded in 1998 as an axis for growing number of people doing research in the area of preservationist logic and has since grown both in size and scope. The main objective of the lab is to support and advance philosophical research that exploits mathematical and other scientific methods.

So far, research has fallen into two camps:

Preservationist Logic or The Biology of Language.

Project Ara is made up of Proof and Consequence, Simple Simon, Simon, Omnis, Somni and Simon Says..., a logic text, study guide, accompanying student editor, instructor editor, student-performance tracking utility and automated online grading and record keeping service.
