Justin transferred to SFU specifically for the School of Interactive Arts and Technology, recognizing that it was “one of the only university programs in Canada that [provides] the necessary skills to become an amazing designer in today’s digital media industry.”

He wanted to maximize his experience at SFU, so he put his design skills to use by helping destigmatize mental health, while on a co-op placement at SFU Health and Counselling.

Outside of class, Justin rounded out his student experience through opportunities on campus to connect with other students. He's an executive of the popular Anime Club and a member of several others. By doing what he loves, he was able to find his people and his place in the SFU community.
