RESOURCES + OPERATIONAL UPDATES

WORKING TOWARDS RECONCILIATION

At SFU, we continue the process of implementing the Walk This Path With Us report’s calls to action. In support of these actions, faculty and staff are invited to register for the San’yas Anti-Racism Indigenous Cultural Safety Training program. The free training introduces key aspects of cultural safety and addresses anti-Indigenous racism. This is self-paced and facilitated training, over an eight-week period, with new sessions beginning monthly.

As construction continues along University Drive East, please be aware of an increase in dump trucks and large equipment this week. Watch for changes in traffic patterns and detour routes. The speed limit in construction zones is 30 km/h. Please slow down and ensure there is enough distance between your vehicle and the crew/equipment working nearby.
