RESOURCES + OPERATIONAL UPDATES

GET READY FOR COLD WEATHER

Winter conditions are coming and how we dress can keep us safe from the elements. SFU’s campuses all face different challenges so it is important to be prepared before stepping outside.

More than 500 people are waiting for an organ transplant in British Columbia, and a new SFU initiative will support faculty and staff who want to help. Those who choose to become living donors will now be eligible for 100% of their salary for up to six weeks of recovery time. This leave will be available to all continuing SFU employees as well as employees in temporary positions longer than three months.

Discover the key takeaways from the event held on November 1. Community members learned more about the university's budget process, financial situation and strategic plans for the upcoming budget cycle. View the full session recording for more detailed information.
