STUDENTS CREATE FIRST BURNABY MOUNTAIN POWWOW IN HONOUR OF INDIGENOUS STUDENTS

The SFU First Nations, Métis and Inuit Student Association celebrates the end of the school year and the achievements of Indigenous students with a traditional powwow.

Organizers Raven and Kali King Stierle share the importance of community, of culture as healing, and their hopes that this will become an annual tradition for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous members of the Burnaby Mountain community.
