Event: Science Rendezvous
On Saturday, May 9, 2015 the Department of Mathematics was proud to take part in Science Rendezvous, the largest science festival in Canada. The annual event seeks to engage the public (and especially kids!) through interactive science activities, demonstrations, and laboratory experiences. Our table was extremely busy with kids and parents alike, who learned about both the importance and joy of mathematics. Thanks to our very own Brenda Davison, who coordinated the event for our department and to all of our volunteers who helped out. You did a great job!
