**Math Camp for Teachers**

The 2016 Math Camp for Teachers will be **July 4th - 8th, 2016**, 9:00 - 15:00, in the Trottier Studio (SC C9051 in the Chemistry Department) SFU Burnaby Campus. The camp is sponsored by a grant from the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences (PIMS), and by the Department of Mathematics, SFU.

The Camp is designed for teachers who teach mathematics in middle and high school. This year's theme is **Mathematical Habits of Mind**. In addition, we will explore non-traditional application of mathematics; to Biology (human genome), Games and Strategies, Web Design, etc.

The Camp Leaders will be Malgorzata Dubiel and Jamie Mulholland, SFU. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops.

The camp registration fee is $75 (student teachers $40). Includes lunches and refreshments. **The Application deadline is Monday, June 20th, 2016**, and the application form is available here.

Go up the stairs and turn right. The corridor towards the Chemistry department is just around the corner, past the CIBC cash machine.

If you need to use elevator, enter to the right of the big stairs - the elevator will be in front of you to the right. Go one floor up, to the 3rd floor, and turn left when you exit the elevator. Walk down the hall till you see the CIBC Banking Machine and watch for the glass double doors to the left of the machine. This is the 9,000 level of the Chemistry Wing.
