Advising Options
Email Advising
Email advising is best for quick questions. If you are outside the country, or can’t talk in person or over the phone, then you may email more detailed questions. Make sure you send emails from your SFU account and include your student number. Attach your SFU advising transcript.
Email: math_advice@sfu.ca
DropIn Advising
Drop by P9323 for a brief meeting (maximum 10 minutes) during dropin advising hours. Bring your advising transcript to dropin hours, if possible.
See the advising schedule below for dropin hours.
Phone Advising
You can call 7787824980 with quick questions. If the advisor is not available by phone, please email your question or come to dropin advising.
Booked Appointments
If you are unavailable during dropin hours, or you need a longer meeting, please call 7787824980 to book an appointment. Graduation checks and program planning usually require booked appointments. Appointments are not normally booked for students who are not mathematics students or intended mathematics students.
