Math Catchers visited Alvin A McKay Elementary in Laxgalts'ap, Nisga'a Nation. We started with a workshop with the intermediate classes during which we were looking for hidden patterns and playing with Dr. J's toys! With the primary students we discussed what mathematics is about and watched a film with one of Small Number's adventure. Students were eager to answer the most difficult questions that Veselin was able to come up with. It was a very enjoyable experience for students, teachers, and Veselin!
