Hanieh Zahiremami

Hello, my name is Hanieh Zahiremami and I am currently studying Mechatronic Systems Engineering at SFU. As a second year undergrad student, I am involved in various clubs and personal projects such as SFU’s Formula1 SAE club and developing mobile applications. My goal is to support and encourage more female students to join the faculty of Applied Sciences. I will be happy to share my experiences and answer any questions you might have prior to entering university.

Sydney Shortt

Hello! My name is Sydney Shortt and I am a 3rd year Mechatronic Systems Engineering student here at SFU. I I'm currently on an 8 month coop, where I get to develop the skills I have learned throughout this program in an industry setting. Additionally I play on the the SFU Women's field hockey team as well as help with some of their administration. As an engineering student I am really passionate about design and through this program I have had many opportunities to develop this skill. I cant wait to share some of my experiences and am looking forward to talking more about my time here at SFU!
