The Regional Treatment Centre (Pacific) of the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) in partnership with the Mental Health, Law and Policy Institute at Simon Fraser University are hosting this first biennial conference on forensic mental health. This conference will provide information and training on issues directly related to clinical and research work at both facilities. It will be of interest to students, CSC staff, university faculty and community mental health professionals.

This interdisciplinary conference provided a context for researchers, practitioners and others to exchange knowledge regarding the challenges of understanding and working with aggressive and violent girls.  The presentations given at this conference would interest a number of individuals (including Mental Health Professionals, Educators, Health Care Workers, Corrections Workers, Social Workers, Academics and Students) and can be downloaded in both video and overhead formats.
