Eva joined the School of Public Policy in 2009 to coordinate and develop the MPP Co-op program in conjunction with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Co-op. Her role expanded in 2012 to include alumni development and community engagement projects and activities.
Eva understands the Co-op process from all angles – as a former Co-op student during her undergraduate degree in Communication, and as a supervisor of Co-op students. As part of the MPP Co-op program, she facilitates a series of professional development workshops, builds relationships with new and current employers and provides advising and support to students during their Co-op job search and the summer Co-op workterm.
Her responsibilities as Co-op, Alumni and Community Engagement Coordinator also include alumni communication, linking alumni with new graduates, coordinating networking events, Policy Spotlights and roundtables, and planning the School’s annual Internal Case Competition.
No stranger to multi-tasking, Eva works at the Harbour Centre campus three days per week, and two days per week at the Burnaby campus as a member of the Arts Co-op team, working with undergraduate and Master's students from all social science disciplines.
