By: SFU Career Services
Will you be looking for a summer job this year? Our Career team presents some options you may want to check out.
ON CAMPUS:
1) Symplicity
Symplicity is the comprehensive online job posting system where job and volunteer opportunity postings from Career Services, Co-operative Education and Volunteer Services are posted. There is a wide range of off campus postings including full time and part time jobs as well!
2) Summer Opportunities Fair
Want to learn about employment, educational, and volunteer opportunities for this summer? Come to the Summer Opportunities Fair on March 7th. Register NOW through Symplicity, and you could win a prize!
3) Faculty, Departments and Professors
Faculty may have summer positions or may know of one that they can offer or direct you to! Many SFU professors receive summer wage subsidy funding from the Canada Summer Jobs Program, so communicate with them directly or check out simplicity for CSJ job postings.
**Your most accessible and easiest resource is right here on campus: Work Integrated Learning. Drop by and have a chat with one of our career advisors. Book in advance by calling 778.782.3106.
