This year, the annual event was held over a period of three days, with one at the Surrey campus and two at the Burnaby campus. It included approximately fifty volunteer organizations which came out to recruit student volunteers and spread the message of their cause.

Volunteers must be: respectful, passionate to help others, and, most importantly, empathetic. Students interested in matters of youth justice and psychology (or any subjects in the health field) may find particular interest in this opportunity. That does not exclude others who are not in those fields, rather, much of the knowledge required to volunteer is learned on the job.

Be passionate about what you choose to do and be open to try new things.
