“Hunger is the Problem. You are the Solution.”

If you ever missed a meal when you were really hungry, you know how excruciating hunger can become. Help end hunger and poverty by volunteering your time and talent with Meal Exchange! Founded by a university student in 1993, Meal Exchange has since raised over $2 million worth of food for communities across Canada.

Not only will you be making a positive difference in your community, you will also have the opportunity to gain personal and professional skills and new friends on campus and across the country. Meal Exchange is currently looking for chapter directors and coordinators to oversee the chapter at SFU. You will help recruit and guide student volunteers at Meal Exchange events, organize and implement Meal Exchange programs and explore opportunities and ways to better engage individuals on campus and in the community, just to name a few.

Don’t think a chapter director or coordinator is the kind of volunteer opportunity you are looking for? There are many other ways you can get involved with Meal Exchange, visit their website for more volunteer opportunities.
