Research opportunities are great experiences to further your career. The only problem is that they can be hard to find. Ladies and gentlemen, fear not! An SFU Student has created an online resource that will make it easy for you to find the research opportunity you so desire.

Second-year Business Administration student, Japreet Lehal, has launched the website GoResearch (www.goresearch.ca). This online resource provides students with a connection to researchers, not available anywhere else. Lehal states that his “goal is to initiate a worldwide movement where students can have the opportunity to get involved in research early on in their lives.” So why not support your fellow SFU student and your career by becoming involved with research opportunities!

GoResearch is a research opportunities website, available in over sixty different languages. With user-friendly searches and filters, students can easily find a research opportunity that fits with their interests and goals. Opportunities vary from volunteer, full-time, part-time, temporary, paid, internship, etc. There is something to fit any schedule, making GoResearch an ideal site for students.

Research opportunities are unique and awesome forms of community engagement. By researching, you allow yourself to better your community and further your learning. What better way to put your education to use than actually carrying out skills you have learned! I strongly encourage you all to take a gander at GoResearch and see what opportunities await you!
