No More Pain, Only Healing

No More Pain, Only Healing
By: Celine Diaz
Pain is inescapable; something we’ve all experienced from the past that might’ve even lingered on to the present. In fact, painful memories from childhood scar us the most, crippling our ability to be the best we can be.
How much worse is it for children who’ve experienced abuse or neglect? For those whose shattered pasts left scars so deep they can barely dream of a brighter future?
The Children’s Aid Foundation – a Canadian charity dedicated to improving the lives of abused, neglected, and at-risk children – believes it’s time to put an end to all this injustice. By raising money to fund prevention, enrichment, and education programs, futures can be restored to children who’ve been robbed of hope.
But your help is needed to make this happen.
YOUR HELP
You can help the Children’s Aid Foundation in the following ways:
Donate (to fund the prevention, enrichment, and education programs)
Volunteer (tasks include setting-up at events, administration work etc.)
& Much more (check out these creative ways to help out)

Perhaps we cannot change the damage that has been done in the past, but we can work towards a brighter future. The scars of the past no longer have to be reminders of pain, but reminders of healing.
