Under Construction: Raindrops & Videos & Blogs, Oh My!

Under Construction: Raindrops & Videos & Blogs, Oh My!
By: Elizabeth Moffat
When I last wrote the weather was still warm enough that shorts were a legitimate option for an afternoon class, but that’s all behind us now, and I’ve exchanged my tanktops and flip flops for scarfs and rain boots.
A lot has also changed here at the OLC in that time and I’m glad to say that we’ve been seeing lots of good feedback from our readers. You may have seen the newsletters we put out with tips on resumes, interviews and your first week on the job. They were accompanied by beautiful new landing pages (you can find them under the ‘Learn’ menu).
We’ve also posted some videos, Quentin shares why she hates interviews and I tested out Interview Stream. So have a look and let us know if you think we have a future in film!
We’ve also been busy getting a whole slew of blogs uploaded onto the site, courtesy of Career Services and Volunteer Services (apparently I’m not the only multi talented blogger on campus!)
We’re still getting better every week, so keep checking back with me, or follow @SFU_OLC on Twitter for the latest updates. See you again soon!
P.S. What do you like the most about our new site?
P.P.S We're also known as OUR Learning Community now, instead of the ONLINE Learning Community. Prepare yourselves accordingly.
