It was the beginning of my second year at SFU when I was presented with a golden opportunity: I had 24 hours to decide whether or not I would accept an 8 month Co-op position at Blackberry in Ottawa,  4,300 km away from my family, my friends and my life. I was intimidated – to say the least.
