Co-operative Education
Co-op interviews will sometimes be conducted like regular job interviews, but some employers may ask questions specifically related to the co-op program.
In addition, these employers know that you’re still a student and expect that you may not have a lot of relevant work experience, so don’t be afraid of using examples from school or your co-op workshops to help answer a question.
- . Describe to a difficult time you experienced during your last co-op. How did you solve the problem?
- . How many co-op work terms have you completed?
- . Of the co-op employers for whom you have worked, which did you like least? Why?
- . What expectations would you have for me, your co-op supervisor, during your work term?
- . What would you want to do for your work term project? Is there anything that you are specifically interested in?
- . Why did you join the co-op program?
- · How would you define a good co-op workterm?
- · Of the co-op employers for whom you have worked, which did you like most? Why?
- · What do you find to be the most valuable part of your co-op experience?
