Testing, Situation & Performance
During an interview an employer may ask you to:
• complete a test, task, or technical assignment
• describe a situation or scenario
• perform a presentation on a topic or skill
Your performance assists the interviewer to determine whether you have the skills necessary to succeed in the job for which you are interviewing.
Question Intent
An interviewer may add a test, situation, or performance component to your interview to:
• evaluate knowledge, skill level, and performance,
• assess logic, reasoning processes, and creative thinking skills
• observe confidence and competence in skills.
